Tim has more than 20 years' experience in the Information Technology industry, with specific focus on professional services.
Originally from a technical background, Tim moved quickly - and successfully - into the sales discipline with a major IT supplier where, as Business Development Manager – and subsequently Director - he was personally responsible for a number of multi-million pound sales in both the public and private sectors.
Over the course of his career, Tim has
held a number of General Management roles within the IT industry, including
direct responsibility for several successful professional services businesses.
Tim’s
range of responsibility has varied from start-ups (including growing
one such business to a turnover of some £12m) to established services
organisations up to 100 people and £15m turnover.
Tim’s specialism is in defining, refining and successfully implementing value proposition strategies for product and service organisations.
He has helped established businesses re-position to meet changing market dynamics (e.g. as Applications Consulting Director with a major IT services supplier) as well as helping smaller organisations such as Innotec itself to define their market proposition, identify their target market and successfully deliver profitable sales.
